DoE starts testing pond water in Ctg

Department of Environment (DoE), Chittagong started testing quality of pond water here to measure quantity of pollutions from yesterday.
Water of four ponds - Agrabad Deba at Agrabad area, Bhaluar Dighi at Pahartali, Ashkar Dighi at Hemshane Lane and Laldighi near Laldighi Maidan -- were tested on the first day with mobile laboratory and samples were collected for further tests.
Mustafizur Rahman Akhand, acting director of DoE, Chittagong, said presence of pollutions was found in the water of every pond more or less.
