Sust female student found dead

A female student of Shahjalal University of Science and Technology was found hanging in her dormitory at Pathantola, Sylhet early yesterday.
Saima Sultana Anny, a first-year honours student of Computer Science and Engineering department, used to live in a private hostel rented by the university authority.
The cause of "the suicide" is yet to be ascertained.
Roommates said Saima had talked to her father and fiancé Rubel over mobile phone before she entered the bathroom around midnight.
She didn't come out even after an hour. Getting dead silence from inside, the roommates called the security.
Around 1:00am, the girl was found hanging with scarf from shower. She was immediately taken to Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College and Hospital where doctors declared her dead.
Saima came from Dari Rampur of Trishal, Mymensingh. She had an affair with Rubel during her college days in the capital.
The relation became a little strained in recent times, sources said.
After autopsy, the body was handed over to her father Mokhlesur Rahman in the afternoon.
Rahman is an employee of Natural Gas Fertilizer Factory at Fenchuganj, Sylhet.
