Partisan government

The AL is hell-bent on sorting out pro-Jamaat officers for giving them forced retirement, or at least putting them on OSD status. Now our unabashedly partisan government has started to point finger to Jamaat-BNP for every trouble and humiliate, intimidate and torture them to smother their voice.
However short may be our memory, we have not forgotten how the Chhattra League went all out to capture all major educational institutions and established their smothering influence over every service sector and how the government betrayed our national interests by the dangerously compromising agreements with India and how they vitiated the law and order situation by fighting among themselves. We have seen tears on the eyes of Pilkhana victims' relatives, on the sunken eyes of the garment workers. The government is so efficient in nabbing the Shibir activists for their allegedly killing a Chhatra league activist, but they let go their own criminals. They remain mysteriously mum when BSF kills our innocent citizens at the borders almost daily.
The citizens can see through everything.
