The government yesterday sought further investigation into the seizure of 10 truckloads of firearms at a jetty in the port city on April 2, 2004.
Additional Public Prosecutor (APP) Humayun Kabir Rassel made the appeal before Chittagong Metropolitan Sessions Judge AKM Anwar Hossain.
The court fixed January 27 for hearing.
Ten truckloads of firearms were seized at the jetty of Chittagong Urea Fertiliser Ltd (CUFL) on April 2, 2004.
