President of Int'l Assoc of Lions Clubs arrives today

Mahendra Amarasuriya, president of The International Association of Lions Clubs, arrives in the city today on a four-day official visit at the invitation of the Lions Multiple District 315 Bangladesh, says a press release.
The main purpose of his visit is to assess the Lions activities in Bangladesh. He will also attend a national seminar on 'The role of youths for development of Bangladesh' and a discussion on 'The role of Lions in removing blindness from Bangladesh by the year 2020'.
During his stay, Mahendra Amarasuriya will call on President Iajuddin Ahmed and visit Chittagong to see the ongoing projects, including Chittagong Lions Foundation (CLF).
