Diplomatic service rules

According to existing diplomatic service rules of Bangladesh, a diplomat can never tie the knot with a foreign national, and even cannot give an oral or written promise to marry a foreigner. As the law should treat everyone equally, so it's expected that Dr. Debapriya's case would not be an exception.
Moreover, we know the CPD (Center for Policy Dialogue) as a non- political, non-government and independent watchdog, that has been working for the greater welfare of the people since its birth. In pursuing its objectives, the CPD sometimes has to criticise the political parties and the government as well. What people like about the CPD is its constructive criticism on different issues followed by its suggestions.
It has earned so much reputation that it seems people talk more about Professor Rehman Sobhan and Dr. Debapriya Bhattachariya than the CPD itself.
