Under-trial prisoner dies at Khulna jail hospital

An under-trial prisoner died at Khulna jail hospital early morning yesterday.
The prisoner identified as Abu Bakar Gazi fell sick in Satkhira jail on October 28 and was shifted to Khulna jail the same day as his condition deteriorated.
Bakar, 32, son of Din Ali Gazi of village Garanbaria in Debhata upazila was arrested allegedly for drug addiction on September 9, Satkhira jail and police sources said.
Satkhira Sadar Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Abdul Kader Beg confirmed the incident.
