'Buy revenue stamps from post offices'

Directorate of Bangladesh Post Office has requested people to procure revenue stamps only from the post offices and not to get cheated by frauds involved in revenue stamp counterfeiting.
Issuing a press release recently the Directorate informed the public that the authentic stamps (of worth Tk 5 each) have the distinguished feature of five-time inscription of the word 'GOB' on them printed in ultraviolet ink.
It also mentioned that due to the circulation of counterfeit stamps government has been loosing revenue earnings from this sector.
It urged all revenue stamp users in government, semi-government and private sectors as well as the individual users to remain aware about buying the authentic stamps.
