A three- member committee formed by Chandpur district police administration will soon visit Tongi under Gazipur district to know the identity of seven women killed by Rasu Khan as they all hailed from Tongi.
Disclosing this to local newsmen, district Police Superintendent Krishnapada Roy said the law enforcers will also arrest if any of Rasu's accomplices are found.
Serial killer Rasu Khan, who confessed to killing 11 women, was yesterday placed on a three-day fresh remand by the Chief Judicial Magistrate's Court, Chandpur.
On expiry of his two days remand, police produced Rasu in the court, seeking a five-day fresh remand but the Chief Judicial Magistrate Md Mozammel Haque granted a three--day remand for the killer.
Sub-Inspector Nazrul Islam of Chandpur Model Police Station said police appealed for five days remand for Rasu in connection with the killing of Shahida in Sobhanpur area of Dakatia River on December 18 last year.
Police arrested Rasu at Nirashpara in Tongi on October 7.
