UK university scholarships for Bangladeshi students

The Liverpool Hope University of England will provide scholarships for Bangladeshi students in its January session as part of its efforts to encourage insolvent students to study in the UK.
“The scholarships will be offered both at undergraduate or postgraduate levels with a view to encouraging insolvent Bangladeshi students with good academic results to study in the UK,”
International Recruitment Manager of the university Nancy Donna Cooke told a press conference in the city yesterday.
Infozee International Ltd, a global education consulting firm, organised the press conference.
Nancy is in Dhaka to interview admission seekers and confirm spot admission as well as to have discussion with top Bangladeshi universities for establishing collaboration programmes.
She said the scholarships for undergraduate students range from £ 1,000 to £ 2,000 a year depending on merit of the students. “But the same for the postgraduate students ranges up to half the tuition fee with a full scholarship for one student.”
Nancy said the tuition fees at Liverpool Hope are almost half the fees of other universities of its status in the United Kingdom.
According to UK's Higher Education Statistics Agency (2008), Liverpool Hope has the highest graduate employment rate of any non-specialist university in the UK, with 97.3 percent of Liverpool Hope's graduates employed or engaged in further study within a year of graduation.
The Liverpool Hope University, one of the oldest higher education institutions in the North West of England, attracts students from some 60 different countries worldwide.
