BCB names the squads

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has selected 56 players for the Challengers Cup 2007, which will begin in Dhaka on November 9.
The cricketers selected from the National Cricket League divisional teams, Premier and Corporate leagues teams and U-19 teams, will represent four sides in the four-day encounters to be played at the Dhanmondi Cricket Stadium and BKSP.
Each of the four teams -- East, West, North and South -- will have 14 players in their squads.
The players have been requested to report to their respective coaches by November 7 at 4 pm at the BCB Academy House at Dhanmondi.
SQUADS
Team East: Debabrata Paul (captain), Shakil Haider, Monirul Islam Taj, Nizam Uddin Ripon, Humayun Kabir, Salahuddin Ahmed Ujjal, Dip Kumar Saha, Lablur Rahman, Rajan, Raihan Uddin Arafat, Sirajullah Khadem, Kazi Shamim, Mahmuduzzaman, Rumman Islam and Abdul Hadi Ratan (coach).
Team West: Manjurul Islam (captain), Saikat Ali, Rashedul Haq Sumon, Mustafizur Rahman, Mohammed Rasel, Zahidul Islam Koton, Ariful Islam Sabuj, Kuntal Chandra Papan, Arif Hossain, Tapash Ghosh, Monirul Islam, Shanjoy Chakrobarty, Sajjadul Haq Ripon, Shahjahan Tipu and Mukhlesur Rahman Bablu (coach).
Team North: Kamrul Islam Emon (captain), Shafiul Alam, Uttam Sarker, Fariduddin Masud, Habib Muballeg Jems, Ashiqul Islam Rajib, Iftekhar Nayeem, Mohammed Mamun, Mohammed Younus, Mahbub Alam, Saiful Islam Suhash, Setu, Gazi Alamgir, Kankon and Mizanur Rahman Babul (coach).
