“Banglish” or “Engla”

I highly appreciate the article "I am not ashamed of speaking Banglish!" by Dr. Binoy Barman, published in your Star Campus on October 28. The article was very much informative as well as optimistic. He also tried to shed some professional and linguistic light on the development of so-called Banglish or Engla.
Every language has a natural, inherent adaptive and assimilating trait which cannot be effaced by an external force. I think the main problem here is our way of acceptance. When something new or groundbreaking takes place in our society, we cannot accept them in a positive way. We always try to discuss the bad sides of it.
Language is a living entity, a living entity must show signs of mutations. A mutant will survive if it is fit enough. Let us just wait and see whether our Banglish or Engla is a survivor or not!
