baby Gharial

A baby Gharial being put in a water-filled hole dug in the yard of a local's house in Dakshin Teota village in Manikganj's Shivalaya upazila yesterday. A fisherman had accidentally caught the crocodile in the Jamuna river earlier in the day and later kept it here. On being informed, Shivalaya Upazila Livestock Officer AM Rezzaqul Haider visited the place and sent the animal to the zoo in Dhaka. Photo: Collected
