Indian Navy Chief Admiral Sunil Lanba, left, and Bangladesh Navy Chief Admiral Nizamuddin Ahmed touch a digital globe yesterday to inaugurate the first ever coordinated patrol (CORPAT) of the navies at Bangladesh Navy base BNS Isha Khan in Patenga of Chittagong. The annual feature is aimed at enhancing operational interaction between the two navies as well as ensuring maritime security through curbing illegal fishing, all sorts of smuggling, piracy and terrorism.
