Missing farmer found dead

Police recovered the body of a farmer from Araton Kanpara village in Phulpur upazila yesterday afternoon.
The deceased was identified as Abdul Haque, 28, son of Abdul Latif of the village.
Police quoted family sources as saying that Abdul Haque, father of a three-year-old boy, had been missing since Friday evening.
Locals found the body of Abdul Haque at a paddy field at noon and informed the police.
Police went to the spot at around 3:00pm, recovered the body and sent it to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy.
The body bore injury marks, said Mazharul Haque, officer-in-charge (OC) of Phulpur Police Station.
