Zurhem and BMW team up to promote Bangladeshi luxury couture
Collaborations between first class brands are quite rampant in the western world. The situation is no different for our country either, because we can proudly announce that A-listed brands are also emerging in our country and one such name is Zurhem.
The very recent collaboration between Zurhem and the world renowned BMW has been the talk of the town and that too for a very good reason.
Zurhem and BMW have signed a partnership deal with an aim to create strategic benefits for both of their client bases and giving local buyers an experience of world-class high-end couture that are proudly designed and made in Bangladesh.
From BMW, Dewan Sajid Afzal, GM, Executive Motors Ltd. Bangladesh and from Zurhem, Saadat Chowdhury, Chairman, and Mehruz Munir, CEO, signed the MoU.
As part of the arrangement, every BMW buyer will receive a 'made to measure' designer Zurhem suit. The biannual fashion shows exclusively featuring Zurhem's fall/winter and spring/summer collections will also be powered by BMW. Both brands feel that this partnership would expand the luxury target group and boost confidence in local couture.
To celebrate the occasion, an intimate dinner was hosted by BMW at its showroom in Tejgaon, Dhaka on July 22, 2017. Among notable guests at the dinner were cricketer Tamim Iqbal; Farzana Chowdhury, CEO, Green Delta Insurance Ltd; Md. Zia Uddin, Chairman, Active Fine Chemicals Ltd; and Nawshin Khaer, Board of Trustees, Bengal Foundation.
