Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu today alleged that BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia, in greed of state power, wants to lease out the country to militants.

“Terrorists are killing people by arson attacks under the leadership of Khaleda Zia. However, the countrymen will not let this continue and will resist that,” Inu said while addressing a function on ‘Language Movement and Role of Comrade Mohammad Taher’ held at the National Press Club.

Inu, also president of the Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (JSD), said the people of the country will never bow their heads down before terrorist activities, report the Bangla daily Prothom Alo.

“We never compromised with the Pakistani defeated forces and similarly will not compromise with the arson attackers,” he said adding they have no alternative but to surrender.

Compared the arsonists with the Middle East based heinous and barbaric militant forces, the information minister rejected dialogue calls and said, “No talks can be held between men and wild forces.”

He added that there will be no dialogue until the ongoing hartal is called off.
