3 Bangladeshis held in Kolkata for ‘militant link’

Kolkata police claimed to have arrested four people including three Bangladeshis for their alleged link with militancy.
Three Bangladeshis are Ziaur Rahman alias Mohsin alias Jahir Abbas of Chapainwabganj's Nachol upazila, Mamnur Rashi of Rangpur's Badarganj upazila and Shaheen Alam of Rajshahi's Godagari upazila. Another arrestee was Rabiul Islam of Bardhaman district in West Bengal.
Shuvankar Sinha, commissioner of police's Special Task Force in Kolkata, told our Kolkata correspondent that all the three Bangladeshi youths were the members of the banned militant outfit Jama'atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB), who entered India illegally from Bangladesh to avoid arrest.
The arrestees were produced before a court in Kolkata this afternoon hours after detectives of police's task force police arrested them from Sealdah.
Indian police filed a case against the three Bangladeshis under the Foreigners Act.
The policemen also seized video footage from the arrestees, which was actually used for training militants.
