Ayesha Faiz, mother of late popular writer Humayun Ahmed, has been admitted to a hospital in Dhaka in a critical condition.
Talking to The Daily Star yesterday, Ayesha's youngest son and cartoonist Ahsan Habib said she was taken to Labaid hospital on Thursday afternoon.
“She is now under observation at the critical care unit (CCU) of the hospital,” he said. According to her son, Ayesha Faiz has been suffering from several illnesses including kidney failure.
