Halsall in line for fielding job
Zimbabwean-born Richard Halsall, who has worked with the England national team as both a fielding and assistant coach, is a candidate to be Bangladesh's next fielding coach. Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) sources have also revealed that they are likely to hire a spin consultant from Sri Lanka.
BCB have reportedly been negotiating with Halsall. A BCB source however revealed that Halsall's appointment will depend upon the consent of national coach Chandika Hathurusingha, who reportedly wants to nominate a candidate of his own choice.
After the appointment of Hathurusingha as national coach and Heath Streak as bowling coach earlier this year Bangladesh's evolving team management is likely to add two more members to its support staff.
