Foez president, Dipok general secretary of Chhatra Union

Leftist student organisation, Bangladesh Chhatra Union, the student front of the Communist Party of Bangladesh, today formed its new central committee with Foez Ullah and Dipok Shil as its president and general secretary respectively.

Soumaiya Shetu was made the organising secretary of the organisation. 

The outgoing president Mehdi Hasan Nobel announced the 41-member committee this afternoon after conclusion of the organisation's 40th national council at Shaheed Tajul Islam Auditorium at Purana Paltan in Dhaka.

Earlier, on November 19, tea and jute mill workers inaugurated the 40th national council of the organisation at the base of Dhaka University's Raju Memorial Sculpture.
