Fire at Krishi Bhaban in capital

A fire broke out at the Krishi Bhaban in the capital's Motijheel this evening.
The fire started from a sofa set on the seventh floor of the 11-story building around 5:50pm and spread to other areas of the floor, fire service officials told The Daily Star.
There was no immediate estimation of losses from the fire, the officials said adding eight firefighting units rushed to the spot to bring the blaze under control in half an hour.  
The reason behind the fire could not be known immediately.
