This cup has to be mine, says Neymar

Brazil star forward Neymar expressed his hunger for World Cup glory as the showpiece event nears kick off in June. Neymar is currently recovering from an injury which he suffered back in February during a Ligue 1 game against Marseille.

Neymar is desperate to help Brazil claim their sixth World Cup trophy as he continues to recover from a broken foot with less than a month remaining for the World Cup.

"What inspires me the most is playing football. Being inside the field is my greatest joy," he told Desimpedidos in a Facebook interview.

"The World Cup is the biggest championship in the world, I just want to play and be a champion. This cup has to be mine." The Brazilian expressed his thoughts.

Neymar, who haven’t played since last February is optimistic about his recovery.

"I've already started to train with the ball, I felt good, comfortable,"

"Of course I had a little fear, but I'm slowly coming back." Neymar said.

Surely, Neymar will be looking to take Brazil all the way to glory this time with the humiliating defeat handed by the mighty Germans from the 2014 World Cup on the back of his mind.

Brazil have been drawn with Switzerland, Costa Rica and Serbia in Group E of the fixture.
