Flood victim rescued by navy gives birth to baby boy

A stranded flood victim gave birth to a baby today, a day after she was rescued by Bangladesh Navy from the northeastern part of the country.

As a homage to the rescue efforts of the navy, the baby was named "Durjoy", according to a press release issued by the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR).

Both the baby and the mother are safe and healthy.
