Use of modern technology in film production: Seminar discusses future possibilities
The use of modern technology in film production in Bangladesh started more than a decade ago. Modern cameras, editing, lights, dubbing, RR, color correction, digital sound system, graphics, special effects are used in the films made in Dhaka.
A seminar titled 'Use of modern technology in film production: Bangladesh's perspective' was held today in the morning, at the Bangladesh Film Archive.
Researcher Jannatul Ferdous Nila presented the main article in the seminar. The discussion was led by Film studies teachers, cinematographers, and noted filmmakers.
Director of Bangladesh Film Archive Md Mofakharul Iqbal gave the welcome speech, while Director General Md Nizamul Kabir presided over the seminar.
Eminent editor Fazle Haque, filmmaker Habibul Islam Habib, journalist and actor Mir Nasimul Islam, director, writer and poet Hashibur Reza Kallol, filmmaker Pankaj Palit and film researcher Mir Shamsul Alam Baboo, among others, participated in the discussion.
