‘The Godfather’ returning to theaters for 50th anniversary

"The Godfather" is celebrating its golden jubilee, with a return to movie theaters. The Francis Ford Coppola movie will release in limited AMC Theatres on February 25. The film will also be re-released in international territories as well.
Paramount and Director Francis Ford Coppola restored all three Godfather films over the course of three years.
The entire trilogy will be made available in 4K Ultra HD for the first time on March 22, 2022.
Versions of "The Godfather" and "The Godfather Part II" will include both the original mono tracks and the 5.1 audio mixes approved by the legend Walter Murch in 2007.
Starring Al Pacino, Marlon Brando, James Caan, Robert Duvall, Diane Keaton, Talia Shire, John Cazale, and many others, "The Godfather" originally hit theaters on March 24, 1972.
