Mehazabien cosplays Leona from “The King of Fighters”

Renowned actress Mehazabien Chowdhury went viral today after a tumultuous makeover, cosplaying as popular video game character Leona, from "The King of Fighters" franchise.

The recreation of the character, while some might argue as not being spot-on, surprised the audience who are used to seeing the former Lux Superstar winner in more serious acting roles.

"The King of Fighters" franchise, owned by SNK, is one of the most popular fighting game franchises in the world, spawning millions of fans, dozens of instalments and hundreds of memorable characters.

Mehazabien is the face of Tecno mobile, and the cosplay is to promote a new phone model for the brand. "The new phone that Tecno is launching is all about gaming, and that is why we have recreated the iconic chacracter," told the actress to The Daily Star.
