Afzal Hossain’s mother passes away

Renowned actor Afzal Hossain's mother, Monowara Khanom, passed away yesterday due to old age complications. She died at a reputed hospital around 8pm on Sunday.
Ahsan Hasib Nasim, President of Actors Equity, confirmed the news to The Daily Star.
For all latest news, follow The Daily Star's Google News channel. She will be buried today at Parulia village of Satkhira district after her namaz-e-janaza.
