6 movies to release this June

Four new movies were released on Eid-Ul-Fitr, among which only two were able to gain commercial success. This June, six new movies are set to be released.

"We have got applications for the release of six new movies," said Soumen Roy, a member of Bangladesh Film Producers and Distributors Association.

Applications for the releases of "Bhaiya Re" and "Agamikal" have been filed for June 3, while "Hridoy Majare Tumi" and "Bikkhov" are expected to be released on June 10.

Anjan Aich's "Agamikal" stars Emon, Zakia Bari Mamo, Shatabdi Wadud, Tutul Chowdhury, Suchona Azad, Saberi Alam, Ashish Khandokar, Tarik Shopon, among others.

Shamim Ahmed's "Bikkhov", starring Srabanti Chatterjee and Shanto Khan is based on a road safety movement.

Rokibul Alam Rokib's "Bhaiya Re" stars Rasel Mia, Elina Shammi, Mithu, Shabnam, and Parvin, among others.

Shobnom Bubly and A K Azad starrer "Talash" and "Omanush" will be released on June 17.

Anonno Mamun's directorial film "Omanush" stars Rafiath Rashid Mithila and Nirab. The movie also features Quazi Nawshaba Ahmed, Misha Sawdagar, Shahiduzzaman Selim, Rashed Mamun Apu, Don, and Ananda Khalid, in pivotal roles.
