Shahnaz Khushi returning to theatre after 20 years

Shahnaz Khushi, who embarked on her career as a theatre artiste, is now a popular face on the small screen.  She used to perform on stage regularly as a member of Aranyak Natyadal and Prachyanat. She last performed on stage in the play "Circus", by Prachyanat.

Now, after 20 years, Shahnaz Khushi is returning to the stage with the play "Neel Darpan" on December 7 at Kolkata Tapan theatre. She will be playing a vital role in the play.

"It's a matter of great pleasure and joy that I am returning to the stage after 20 years," said Khushi to The Daily Star.

On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of Bengali play, the production is directed by eminent playwright Mamunur Rashid. The play is produced by Bangla Theatre.
