Lil Late’s latest song ‘Forever’ out now
Bangladeshi-American singer Lil Late recently released his latest single "Forever" on YouTube.
Directed by London-based Bangladeshi filmmaker Taha Ismail, the music video follows Lil Late in a half dream, half reality state.
"Lil Late wanders unfamiliar rooms and neon-lit streets in LA searching for something he has lost. Through his search, he is transported to a TV where he begins to follow an indistinguishable figure, all while being followed by a ghost from his past. This loop continues until it begins to unravel and he remembers the face of a past lover and the ghost of who he used to be," the official synopsis read.
Earlier on, Lil Late wrote his first Bangla song "Raater Kotha" to pay tribute to his mother tongue, Bangla.
Taha Ismail's project has been featured on US television, BAFTA qualifying festival Aesthetica, Alaska Airlines IFE, Austin Music Video Festival, and acclaimed platforms such as BBC, Omeleto, BOOOOOOOM, MYM & 1.4, among others.
