Dinat Jahan Munni and daughter severely injured in car accident

Singer Dinat Jahan Munni and her daughter were injured in a massive car accident in New York, USA. Her eldest daughter, Prerona, suffered a severe head injury. The accident occurred while they were returning home from Jackson Heights, with an Uber.

The driver of their car lost control and rammed a jeep in front at high speed. At that time, they were given emergency treatment at a local hospital.

Munni posted about the accident on her official Facebook account today.

"By the grace of the Almighty, my elder daughter and I, almost came back from the verge of death today. A terrible accident occurred while returning from work with my daughter in Uber. Please keep us in your prayers," read the post.

Both of them have sustained severe injuries- blood has accumulated in her chest, while her daughter has suffered from head injury which has led to come complications.

Currently, Munni and her daughter have returned home after being treated in hospital for four hours. If any serious problem occurs within three days, they will admit to a hospital immediately.

Dinat Jahan Munni won her first national-level award for singing in 1985, and over the decades, has established herself as a singer, and later as a TV host. She started her journey in playback with the 1997 film "Jononeta". Her first album "Pratiksha" was released in 2000.
