Drug trade: Rab arrests 2 including ASI from Narayanganj

Rab arrested two persons including a police official on charge of drug trading in Narayanganj's Siddhirganj upazila yesterday.

The arrestees are -- Shah Imam Uddin, an assistant sub-inspector of Demra Police Station, and Nasir Uddin.

Mashiur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Siddhirganj Police Station said a team of Rab-10 arrested them yesterday afternoon and handed them over to police, after filing a case under the Narcotics Control Act.

Rab seized 190 pieces of yaba from Nasir's possession. During interrogation, Nasir said that ASI Imam gave him the contraband yaba pills, the OC said, quoting the case statement.
