Demu train inaugurated

Diesel Electric Multiple Unit (Demu) train service on the Tongi-Dhaka route was inaugurated at Tongi Railway Station yesterday.

At the event, Director General of Bangladesh Railway Tofazzal Ahmed said two more rail tracks would be set up between Dhaka and Tongi soon.

Abdul Mazid, station master of Kamalapur Railway Station, the demu train will run on the route twice a day.
