Today is the 33rd death anniversary of Samsuddin Chaklader.

A Dhaka University Hockey Blue, Samsuddin also excelled in football and cricket for different clubs during the pre-liberation era.

A milad mahfil will be held at his son Maj (retd) Sahabuddin Chaklader's Uttara resident after Asar prayers today.
