Oli Ahmed was arrested around 2am while Hamidur Rahman was arrested around 9am today, said the OC.

"Both are accused of spreading anti-state propaganda on social media and making defamatory remarks about Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and Indian Prime minister Narendra Modi," said the OC.

"Hamidur is a supporter of Hefajat-e-Islam and Oli is a Shibir activist," the OC claimed.

On Saturday, police arrested another man in Bandarban town in a case filed under DSA for allegedly posting an "anti-lockdown" status on Facebook.

A young man in Khagrachhari landed in jail on Sunday in a case under DSA over his Facebook comments.
