Five more arrested with LSD in Dhaka
Police today said they arrested five persons along with the drug lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD) from Dhaka's Khilgaon area.
Abdul Ahad, deputy commissioner of Motijheel Division Police, confirmed the development to The Daily Star.
Police will hold a press briefing in the evening to divulge further details.
On May 26, detectives arrested three persons and seized 200 pieces of LSD blotter papers from their possession.
Those arrested on May 26 are: Sadman Sakib alias Rupol (25), Ahsab Wadud alias Turja (22) and Adib Ashraf (23).
The law enforcers came to know about the drug while investigating the death of Dhaka University student Hafizur Rahman, whose body was recovered days after he went missing.
