A twenty-five-year-old was killed in a clash between two groups at Mulkhana village of Kalabaria union under Naragati police station in Narail's Kalia upazila.

The clash took place around 12:30 pm today. The victim was identified as Raihan Fakir Rana.

At least seven people were injured in the clash. No case has been filed yet said Roksana Khatun, officer-in-charge (OC) of Naragati Police Station

According to police and local sources, clashes between Mannan Sikder and Sabor Fakir had been going on in Mulkhana village for a while. In yesterday's incident, people from both sides had homemade weapons.

Raihan Fakir Rana, who was supported by Sabor Fakir, was seriously injured in the attack. He was taken to Gopalganj General Hospital, where the on-duty doctor declared him dead. The body has been kept at Gopalganj General Hospital morgue for autopsy.

OC Roksana Khatun said that additional police had been deployed in the area. Attempts are being made to arrest those involved in the incident.
