Unidentified criminals stabbed a local Jubo League leader to death in Laxmipur Sadar upazila on Saturday night. The deceased, Mohammad Faisal, 27, son of Fazlul Karim of Balaishpur village in the upazila, was president of Ward No 3 union unit of Jubo League. Quoting locals, police said Faisal had been living at a rented house in the district town for the last couple of months fearing attack by a local infamous gang.
