JMB suspect arrested, books on jihad seized

Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) arrested a suspected member of the banned militant outfit Jama'atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) from Sahebdanga area in Patgram upazila of the district yesterday.

They also seized leaflets and books on jihad from his possession, said Mozammel Haque, commanding officer of Rab-13 in Rangpur.

The arrestee is Shafiqul Islam Alal, 34, son of late Meraz Uddin of the area.
