JCD leader hacked to death

Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) Charfashion upazila unit (JCD) President Abdur Razzak, 35, was hacked to death by an unidentified gang near Chairman Bazar in the upazila on Saturday.

Quoting locals, police said a gang of criminals hit Razzak with sharp weapons, leaving him critically injured.

Locals took him to Bhola Sadar Hospital where the doctors declared him dead.

Enamul Haque, officer-in-charge of Charfashion Police Station, said law enforcers are trying to unearth clue to the murder.
