Headmaster held for stalking

The headmaster of a government primary school in Aditmari upazila was arrested yesterday in connection with a case for stalking a girl student of his institution.

The arrestee, Lutfar Rahman, 50, of Barabari village, is headmaster of Barabari Government Primary School.

Police said they detained Lutfar after victim's mother filed a case yesterday.

According to the prosecution, Lutfar had been stalking the victim, a Class V student, for the last two months and was also warned earlier.
