Call to help find woman gone missing from capital’s Monipuripara

Leena Leticia Biswas, 49, an intellectually-disabled woman, has been missing from her residence at Monipuripara of Farmgate area since early morning on Monday.

Her relatives have been searching for her the whole day, but could not trace her. They then filed a general diary with Tejgaon Police Station Monday night.

Leena's brother John Biswas said his father Benedict Biman Biswas got up in the morning and noticed Leena was missing.

Leena, the youngest among four siblings, has had learning difficulties since her childhood and was not used to going out alone.

"My elderly parents are very worried," John said, requesting all to contact them if they found her.
