A 50-year-old rickshaw puller died most likely of heat stroke in Barishal city's Sadar Road this morning.
Guards at a private hospital on Sadar Road said the rickshaw puller -- Raja Mia (50) -- stopped his rickshaw in front of the hospital around 11:00am, our Barishal correspondent reports.
The nurses at the hospital immediately rushed to him when he fell on the road.
According to locals, Kotwali Model Police Station's Assistant Sub-Inspector Riajul Islam took Raja Mia to Barishal Sadar General Hospital since he was in critical condition.
Dr Malay Krishna Baral of the hospital said the rickshaw puller may have died of heat stroke before he was taken to the hospital.
