Three kids drowned in Thakurgaon and Bogra districts yesterday and the day before.

Limon, 5, son of Abdul Kashem and Dariman, 6, daughter of Solaiman Ali of Belsara village in Baliadangi upazila of Thakurgaon, fell into a pond near their house while playing on its bank and drowned, reports our correspondent.

In Bogra, an eight-year-old schoolboy drowned in the Bangalee River at Belgaci village in Sherpur upazila of the district on Sunday, reports our correspondent.

The victim is Shamim Hossian Rony, son of Anwar Hossian of Bera upazila in Pabna district. He along with his parents came to visit a relative's house in the area in the morning.

Later, Rony along with some playmates went to take a dip in the river and drowned, said family sources.
