13,000 JSC examinees apply for re-scrutiny of results

Some 13,000 students from Cumilla Education Board applied for the re-scrutiny of their Junior School Certificate (JSC) examination results of 2018.

Sources said 2,904 students applied for re-scrutiny of English, 2,560 of Bangladesh and Global studies and 2,335 of Mathematics while the other applications were submitted for other subjects.

The application for re-scrutiny was accepted through online from December 25 to January 2.

Shahidul Islam, deputy-examination controller of the board, said the results after re-scrutiny will be published on January 24.

This year, a total of 2,54,725 students came out successful with 86.99 percent pass rate in the JSC examination from the board. Of them, 3,742 students obtained GPA-5.
