Munir Chy new ACC DG

The government has appointed Muhammad Munir Chowdhury, company secretary of Dhaka Power Distribution Co Ltd, as new director general of Anti Corruption Commission.

A gazette notification issued on Sunday disclosed the information.

Public Administration Joint Secretary Joynto Kumer Shikdar replaced Munir Chowdhury at DPDC, the notification also said.

Two other joint secretaries SM Monirul Islam and Md Kaisarul Islam have been appointed as member of Bangladesh Land Port Authority (BLPA) and director of Bangladesh Jute Mills Corporation respectively, it added.
