Manikganj DC's SIM card cloned again

The SIM card of Manikganj Deputy Commissioner (DC) Md Nazmus Sadat Selim was cloned again yesterday and criminals tried to use it for fraudulence.

Ali Rajib Mahmud Mithun, NDC at Manikganj Deputy Commissioner's Office, received a call from the official mobile number of the DC around 11:30am yesterday.

The caller asked Mithun to send Tk 14,000 through mobile money transfer service bKash for a project purpose.

The matter that the DC's' cell number was cloned came to light after Mithun, on suspicion, called the DC back to confirm the matter.

Earlier, the DC's SIM was cloned twice, on April 30 and November 3 last year.
