Man electrocuted in Rajbari

A man died of electrocution at his shop at Baruly Bazar in Baliakandi upazila under Rajbari district yesterday morning.

The deceased was Kudus Mondol, 45, son of Hemayet Mondol of Borohijli village under Baliakandi upazila.

Sakhawat Mondol, cousin of Kudus Mondol, said Kudus came in contact with a live electric wire while he was working in his shop around 10:00am.

He was taken to Baliakandi Upazila Health Complex, where an on-duty doctor declared him dead, Sakhawat added.
