‘Huji man’ held in Mymensingh

Police detained an alleged member of banned militant outfit Harkat- ul-Jihad-al-Islami (Huji) in Mymensingh sadar upazila early today.
The arrestee has been identified as Abul Farah Romman, 37, son of late Mir Kashim of Golgonda village in the upazila.
On information, a police team raided Romman’s house at Golgonda and arrested him around 4.30am, our correspondent reports quoting sub-inspector Mushfiqur Rahman of Mymensingh Kotwali Police Station.
Romman is accused in two cases filed with Raojan Police Station in Chittagong in 2010 under Explosives Act and Anti-terrorism Act, the SI also said.
